Ugh, that's really an issue with the way USC packages it up, they're supposed to have checked that through. I'd just get a refund through them. Sorry to hear it's not working.

Can you tell me a little about what you were using? Is this 32 bit or 64, and were you running with gnome or KDE?

You know I'm not actually familiar with Ubuntu 11.10 . In some distros you can just right click and say "Open Terminal" and then you'd type ./Helena64 . But with Unity I don't know how it works. Even if I could get you in a terminal, you'd need to know some of the basic commands.
Let me install it on a virtual box and see if I can get you some better instructions.

press "ctrl" + "alt" + "t" this will open the terminal window in it type "cd " now you can drag and drop helenas folder via your mouse into the terminal and press enter then open helenas folder and drag and drop helena's bin into the terminal then press enter.
Copy and paste the output and post this

Yea,
we've seen this problem before, though I still have no idea what causes it. I thought it was a 32bit only issue, but this does shed a little more light. Thanks.
